COURSE
OVERVIEW:
The Leadership Difference is a three day ‘learning
intervention’ for individuals who lead people!
Included in this program is a 360 leadership profile
that provides invaluable feedback from peers and direct
reports to support each of the major areas explored
in this program. This program is an excellent building
program to the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
program.
Creating
the Vision
Leadership is about direction: not just giving direction,
but creating a vision of what the future potentially
may look like and clearing the path to make it happen.
We explore four aspects of creating the vision, which
connect from the creation to the implementation.
Inspiring/Engaging
Others
It is critical for leaders to be effective in the
‘people component’. In this area we explore
how leaders capture the attention of others, effectively
communicate, lend support, provide recognition and
build their team.
Persistently/Consistently
Focused on the Right, First Things
A level of consistency and ‘stick to it’
behaviour, along with focusing on the most important
things, are the areas we explore.
Character
– People want to follow
Character counts! Within the area of character that
illustrate the qualities of leadership are the behaviours
that the leader exhibits and how they effectively
connect with their team members.
Getting
Results
All successful leaders get results. We examine what
is behind getting the results. Given that the leaders
don’t themselves get the final results, we look
at the important things that must be in place to proactively
be successful.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Outcomes from this program will include significant
improvement in individual leadership performance,
resulting in organizational growth.
