The
Self Management Group is a privately held group of
companies which specializes in the selection, development
and retention of key personnel in areas where high
performance is essential and high stress is often
a common factor.
Founded
by Dr. John Marshall in 1979, the group includes Selection
Testing Consultants International, the Self Management
Resources Corporations and PLUS Corporations in Canada
and the United States, the Self Employment Consulting
Group and Sport ProFile. We are headquartered in Toronto,
Ontario with distributors across Canada, the United
States and internationally.
Dr.
Marshall originated and developed the Personal Orientation
Profile (P.O.P.) and several other proprietary psychometric
tools. These tools are used by a large number of major
international clients to identify and develop top
performers in the fields of management, competitive
selling, career pathing and professional sports. Our
ongoing research in this field has made us world leaders
and we are continuing to develop specialized profiles
to meet the demands of specific industry segments.
The Self Management Group continues to grow into the
21st century with a complete and comprehensive range
of services which includes management and sales training,
effective team building, change management, career
and outplacement counseling, stress management, succession
planning, profiling, mentoring/coaching programs.
